Avoid lifting your head too high or letting your hips sink. 2. Breathing Techniques: Learning proper breathing techniques is essential for swimming efficiently. Practice rhythmic breathing by exhaling underwater and inhaling when your face is out of the water. Remember to turn your head to the side to breathe, rather than lifting it out of the water. 3. Freestyle Arm Stroke: The freestyle arm stroke involves alternating arm movements. Start by extending one arm forward while the other arm pulls back through the water.
